This famous whitebark pine leans precariously over the edge as if its trying to get a better view of the entire lake. It's exposed roots are a true testament of lasting strength, withstanding decades of most certain peril. This is NOT just a dead tree overlooking Crater Lake. It is The Guardian.
Lost
